Cross-country skiing in Obergurgl in Tyrol

Sports-conscious winter guests can recharge their batteries on 12 km of cross-country trails. In Obergurgl on 3 km (practice track) and 7 km, in Hochgurgl on 2 km (high altitude track), 1 km in Hochgurgl is illuminated. Cross-country skiing courses can be taken in the ski schools of Obergurgl-Hochgurgl.

High altitude trail Pill/Angern/Poschach

Length: 7 km, skating, classical

Start at the parking place of the base terminal of the Hochgurgl cableway. Level track at the bottom Pill/Angern - easy to intermediate ascent over the Isse meadows to the hamlets of Königsrain and Alt-Poschach - back along the right bank of the brook past Hotel Jagdhof to the parking place.

Practising trail in the village centre of Obergurgl

Length: 3 km, skating, classical

Start at the Bobo's Kids Club or at the bottom of the church in Schalfkoglweg. Two level circular trails with connecting tracks along the brook in the direction of Bobo's children grounds - crossing the river - over the bridge to Bartebenee.

High altitude trail Hochgurgl

Length: 2 km, skating, classical

Start above the Hochgurgl chapel next to the ski slope, level circular trail across picturesque landscapes towards the timberline, in the direction of the Königstal valley. A part of the track is equipped with floodlights and features a separate winter walking path.
